Overview

It is a Saudi university located in the city of Al-Kharj in Saudi Arabia, about 50 km from the capital, Riyadh. It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University was formerly known as Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz University or Al-Kharj University.

The university was founded in 2007, and since the beginning of the year 1436-2015 its name became Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. It includes more than 28,000 students and aims to graduate distinguished doctors with a reliable medical background, excellent competence in practicing medicine, and the ability to work in a team and compete in the labor market by providing them with an education that meets international standards.

The university includes many specializations, including College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Dentistry, College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Education, College of Business Administration, College of Sciences and Humanities, College of Engineering, and the Community College.

The campus consists of the college building, fully equipped laboratories, lecture halls, library building, research wing, and a host of other facilities. The university hospital also includes all medical specialties and provides its services through 36 general and specialized clinics.
